OFIX offers monthly free and confidential consultations with specialists on labor, resident status/visa, and legal matters. Interpretation services are available in English, Chinese, Korean, Portuguese, Spanish, Thai, Filipino, Vietnamese, Indonesian and Nepali. An appointment is required.

1. Labor Consultations (Appointment required)

Consultant: Officials from the Osaka Prefectural Labor Consultation Center
Topics: Labor issues including wages, dismissal, resignation, working hours, contracts, and sexual/power harassment.
2. Immigration Consultations (Appointment required)
Date & Time: Fri. March 13, 1:30pm – 5:30pm
Method: In person, by phone or online
Consultant: Officials from Osaka Regional Immigration Bureau
Topics: Immigration matters, including residence status
3. Legal Consultations (Appointment required)
Date & Time: Sun. March 15, 1:00pm – 5:00pm
Method: In person, by phone or online
Consultant: Lawyers
Topics: Legal matters including divorce, child custody, human rights, domestic violence, trouble at workplace, consumer affairs, and crimes/accidents.
4. Bureaucratic Procedures Consultation (Appointment required)

Consultant: Specialist in bureaucracy
Topics: Administrative issues including resident status, naturalization, permanent residency,
