This hall was established to provide international students, who will serve as future bridges of friendship between Japan and other countries, with a comfortable living environment in which they can concentrate on their studies, and with the opportunity for goodwill interaction with local residents in the area, which will also promote the further development of the internationalization of Osaka.

    equipped with a unit bath (bath tub, shower, toilet, sink), air
    conditioner, desk and chair, bed, refrigerator, etc.
※With regards to internet, the resident needs to contact the provider directly.

Qualifications for Residency, Miscellaneous

  All of the following conditions must be met in order to qualify for residency at the Osaka Prefecture International Student Hall.
  1. Have student visa resident status for Japan, be attending a graduate school, university, junior-college, post-high school specialty school or vocational school, or Japan Student Services Organization Osaka Japanese Language Education Center.
  2. Be single.
  3. Preference will be given to those studying in Japan at their own expense.
  4. Be doing well in school and have a good attitude about his or her life in Japan, but having difficulty in securing housing.
  5. Be planning on staying in the hall for a maximum of 2 years.
  6. Rent  26,000 yen/month
  7. Students may apply for residency through their university, etc., and must have a recommendation from their school.
